Hi there folks! Big news—starting today, we're getting an upgraded Copilot experience right within Microsoft Teams. So, what does this mean for us? Let me break it down.
First off, think of it as the next level of what we've been using—the Copilot app in Teams (formerly known as Microsoft 365 Chat) is getting a makeover. But fear not, all the handy features we're used to are still here, with some cool new additions.
Now, what's different? Well, for starters, we're getting better prompts tailored to us. That means details specific to our work life, like our colleagues, upcoming meetings, and even our files. Plus, we can now easily access our Copilot chat history and dive into a library of prompts via Copilot Lab. It's like having a personal assistant right in Teams!
But wait, there's more! The new Copilot is not only easier to find and use, but it also promises a smoother experience overall. This upgrade aligns our Copilot experience across platforms, whether we're on microsoft365.com, Bing, or copilot.microsoft.com.
Now, you might be wondering about the difference between the Copilot app in the Teams store and the one pinned above chats. Well, here's the deal—they're essentially the same. It's up to us how we prefer to access Copilot. However, if you're still hanging onto the old Microsoft 365 Chat, it's time to unpin and make the switch to the new and improved version.
As for availability, the new pinned Copilot app is rolling out as we speak. So keep an eye out for it!
